It's a joke : someone realized that today's date was 5th of June 2007, which would be 5/6/07, and thus imagined they would put the trailer up at 1:23:4 5/6/7 that is at 1h 23 min 4 seconds on the 5th of June 2007 and that thus, the release date should be 8/9 or august 2009...

Of course, that's not considering the fact that digital dates are usually written MM/DD/YY in the USA (that is Month/Day/Year) making today 6.5.07 instead of 5.6.07, which some might consider blew the whole theory into disintegrating pieces that will sparkle a growing nuclear reaction leading to the true nuclear apocalypse... Or not.

This is excruciting! God, just let the bloody thing out for the love of...of...well, name a deity.

But seriously, has it even been specified that this teaser is going to be a video of some sort? Maybe the teaser is us waiting for something after the countdown, when really we're going to get nothing. I would certainly feel sufficiently teased if that happened.

I wouldn't want to kill your theory or anything, but if you experiment, and write down the time it indicates, then wait five minutes, refresh and look at the new time you might notice something strange : It has changed and is now 5 minutes later... that's just because that time is just the time until which the cached version of the page is valid... Nothing to do with the page itself.

You people should seriously stop stretching things and seeing signs everywhere ! (which reminds me on today's OOTS strip FWIW).
